Overall though, this was a great collection and I really enjoyed it. And I will never be a fan of her lengthy declarations of love, in which a person lists all the things they like about the other. Even Max from After Felix showed up in a story, though I kinda wish he hadn’t because he was being such a dick.Īs for flaws… as much as I love the author, she does sometimes tend to write dialogue that people in the real world just don’t say. Also, it was nice to get a chapter set between the last chapter and the epilogue of Gideon.

Off the top of my head, I’ll say that Gabe babysitting Billy was great, and I loved Silas’s proposal. And since I didn’t bother noting down my favourites, I can’t even list that. There’s no single plot to discuss, and there are too many stories for me to go through one by one. But it was really nice to revisit these characters and, again, there were several new stories to enjoy a well.Īnd… I’m really struggling to think of something else to say here. So quite a few of the stories I read were rereads. I’m a huge fan of the author, I’ve read almost all her books, I’m even in her Facebook group (even though I don’t like Facebook and don’t even have any friends there). Like Dylan and Gabe have seven, while Milo and Niall only have one (which was fine for me because Milo is my least favourite book by Morton). Some couples get more stories than others. And in true Lily Morton style, they’re all a lot of fun. And the stories are a combination of bonus epilogues, alternate POVs and deleted scenes. Each story follows one of the couples from the two series I mentioned above.

There are 20 of them, of varying lengths. Now, if you’re a fan of the author and in her Facebook group, then you’ve probably read a lot of the stories before. I should’ve reviewed the book like ten days ago, except I thought it was coming out on the 12th, not the second. I’m not planning to, but I have so little self-control when it comes to books… Anyway, this is a collection of shorts featuring characters from six different novels from two series- Mixed Messages and Finding Home.
